Baroque
In the 1600s, the baroque
style became prevalent among artists in Rome and Italy and baroque Works filled
with religious grandeur spread to other parts of Europe.
Baroque express their religious
FAITH through beautiful artworks.
But to be honest with you
there was a bit of ornately abuse if we talk about sculptures.
You can find here some
examples of it.
Siglo de Oro.
1 century later appeared el “Siglo
de Oro” in Spain.
u During
the 16th and the 17th century, there was a period of literatury and artistic
splendour: GOLDEN AGE ( SIGLO DE ORO).
u SIGLO
DE ORO coincides with two cultural movements Renaissance and Baroque.
Enlightenment
Before Enlightenment people´s
way of life were dominated by the church, monarchy and there were a lot of wars
and they certainly didn´t have many rights
Then in enlightenment began
questioning how things were done. Besides, science started to show how the
universo worked and human rights emerged.
Revolutions change the old
order. The arts flourished and people made wonderful music and musical
instruments too.
And don´t forget that it was
the period in which DIDEROT and E wrote the ENCICLOPEDIA (REASONED DICTIONARY OF THE
ARTS, SCIENCES AND TRADES)
